Legendary, mysterious and revered by no one, The Offal Beaters were the first band which former Wolfhounds guitarist Andy Golding formed after the Wolfhounds broke up. The guitars here on 'Poverty In My Language' and 'I Swing In A Different Tree' are a powerful statement of intent, but somehow The Offal Beaters got lost along the way. They played several live shows in and around London, including several shows at The Square in Harlow and a high profile outdoor show at a Hells Angels party on the banks of The Thames, but few people saw them and those who did seemingly never came back. All we have left is this fine selection of field recordings and demos recorded between 1991 and 1993 to show what we all missed.

Andy Golding - Vocals/Guitar

Paul Warwick - Bass
